One of my dearest friends recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. She was the first of our group and this darling girl now has a whole host of new aunties who want to know everything about her.
At first Katie would update us with pictures and videos via Facebook but she realized that although this was great for short and sweet messages, this wasn’t really suitable for all the things she wanted to share with friends and family.

So she asked me to come up with a solution. She wanted to be able to:
- Share special occasions with family and friends
- Document her baby’s growth and development
- Create an online photo album
- Create an online video album
- Write about what it is like being a new parent
- Write about the great products and books that have helped her
As I work as an online freelance writer, my solution for her was quite simple:

I had already created a step by step user manual for other people so I gave her a copy so that she could set up her very first online website. It has been written so that it is extremely easy to follow.
As well as setting up her website I also put together some other step by step guides so that she could create a fantastic variety of things to show off her precious little girl
